Welcome back to breakfast with Luke Laurie, designer of Dwellings of Eldervale and many others, and Peter Vaughan, founder of Cardboard Alchemy. We are at Peter’s Cafe in Millbrae, California. Welcome back to part 3 of breakfast with Curt Covert. During GAMA Expo 2022, I connived and pleaded to have Curt, the founder of Smirk and Dagger, and the designer of Cutthroat Caverns, to join me for Eggs Benedict. I did not insist on the Benedict; he made that choice on his own.

As the coffee drains away, unfortunately it is time to say our goodbyes. But not without some last thoughts on design and originality…

Welcome to part 2 of my first, real honest-to-goodness, face-to-face, real life guest, and not imaginary friends…dinner. And I am lucky enough to be eating with the renaissance man of gaming, Ryan Laukat. Ryan is known for being designer, illustrator, graphic designer and publisher for his games. And today we eat octopus.
