Welcome back to an extended lunch/dinner with Donald X Vaccarino, designer of Dominion, Kingdom Builder, and many others. In this segment, Donald X discusses Dominion development, changes, and design choices. And I nearly let the poor designer eat some of his food in between stories.

Welcome back to dinner with Donald, Dining with Dominion, Dishing about deck building. This week, we are talking about how Infiltration came to be, some publishing and contract stories, and of course Dominion.

I am lucky enough to be eating a nice brunch in a lovely diner with Dominion and Kingdom Builder designer Donald X Vaccarino. My food is nearly gone, and Dominion design questions are flying. Unfortunately, Donald’s storytelling and my rapt attention are not allowing quite enough time for my guest to eat.

Welcome back to dinner with Donald, dining with Dominion. I am enjoying a delightful meal at Ole’s Waffle Shop with the one and only Donald X Vaccarino, designer of Spiel des Jahres winners Kingdom Builder and Dominion. We are midway through our repast, lounging in the booth, recollecting about the early days of Dominion design.

I am currently driving through Alameda, California with the legendary designer of Dominion, Donald X Vaccarino. We are in search of Ole’s Waffle Shop, a fixture here since 1927. To be fair, we found Ole’s without problem. Now we are searching for parking.

Welcome to part 2 of my first, real honest-to-goodness, face-to-face, real life guest, and not imaginary friends…dinner. And I am lucky enough to be eating with the renaissance man of gaming, Ryan Laukat. Ryan is known for being designer, illustrator, graphic designer and publisher for his games. And today we eat octopus.

In this fine episode, Jonny and I talk about area control game problems, the wide, wide world of auction games, flow state and how to run a board game development business. Plus pudding.
